Norfolk Coast Dark Skies Festival Walk
Tuesday 17th October 2023 from 19:00pm to 21:00pm
RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve
Titchwell, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE31 8BB
Join the Norfolk Coast Partnership for a magical night on the marsh and discover the beauty of Titchwell’s dark skies and wildlife.
You’ll experience the sights and sounds of nature as some species settle down for the night and others awake. During our walk we’ll aim to encounter the small animals and insects that whizz around the reserve as darkness falls.
You’ll listen out for the calls of hunting raptors and using mobile bat detectors, search for pipistrelle and Daubenton’s bats hawking for prey in the twilight. Before the evening is over you can see who has dropped into our light traps – perhaps you’ll spot a rare moth or two.
This is a free event, and is part of the Norfolk Coast Dark Skies Festival 2023.
Please note that this has already taken place on 17/10/2023
