Astronomers from DASH Astronomical Society will set up telescopes, giving you a close up view of the moon and stars – and hopefully some planets and nebulae too! We will be serving hot drinks and lights snacks from 6pm-8pm.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
