Night of Cosmic Wonder at The King's Head, Ravenstonedale.
Tuesday 20th February 2024 from 00:00am to 00:00am
Kings Head - Ravenstonedale
Ravenstonedale, Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, CA17 4NH
Stargazing expert Richard Darn is back with us after last year’s sellout event for another fantastic evening of cosmic wonder. We’ll use Telescopes and Binoculars to view the magnificent Moon and giant Jupiter, the ‘king of the planets’. Plus, we’ll search for ancient constellations and even shooting stars. There’ll also be a colourful beginners talk to help make sense of the starry sky above.
This event is part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival 2024 which occurs from the 9th of February to the 25th of February.
Please note that this has already taken place on 20/02/2024
