Night of Cosmic Wonder at Ravenstonedale
Tuesday 25th February 2025 from 19:00pm to 21:00pm
Kings Head - Ravenstonedale
Ravenstonedale, Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, CA17 4NH
As part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival, astronomer Richard Darn will host a stargazing session at The King’s Head in Ravenstonedale.
With no moon in the sky this year the heavens will be ultra dark for our annual stargazing soiree.
We’ll take a tour of the ancient constellations, with Leo and Gemini riding high. Plus Mars and Jupiter are still really well placed for viewing and we’ll give you a front row seat with our powerful telescopes!
The cost is £39 per person, which includes supper and Richard Darn’s years of experience to enlighten you. Call 015396 23050 for bookings.
Please note that this has already taken place on 25/02/2025
