Join an expert leader from Large Outdoors for a fun few hours navigating in the hills, moorlands and woods long after the sun has gone down. We’ll teach you the ins and outs of navigating at night, sharing invaluable tips and methods to help you confidently find your way.
Over 3 hours of learning with a small group, you’ll improve your night navigation abilities under the stars in a designated International Dark Sky Reserve.
On the way, you could well spend some time stargazing, listening out for wildlife that only comes out at night, and seeing the local area in a whole new way. We’re sure that you’ll find something useful to take away from the night, whatever your previous level of map and compass skills.
This event takes place as part of the National Parks Dark Skies Fringe Festival 2022.
