Members of the public are welcome to join Newtown Astronomical Society for this one of their monthly meetings to include a talk, presentation of what can be seen in the night sky this month, telescope surgery and stargazing if weather permits.
The group aims to meet every second Saturday of the month from September through to June. Venue may change depending if there are any special events. Under 16's free otherwise a small fee is payable to help cover costs.
- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
- Event run by a local astronomical society often involving an in-depth presentation by a guest speaker often with observing afterwards if weather permits. Most societies welcome members of the public to join them sometimes for a small fee or donation.
