You are invited to join the friendly astronomers from the Sunderland Astronomical Society for a family-friendly evening of stargazing and astronomy activities.
See the Moon in stunning detail in large-aperture telescopes; the planets Jupiter and Saturn are also visible through the evening, and the Andromeda Galaxy, too! You’ll be given a whirlwind tour of the skies from their fabulous observatory at the Washington Wetland Centre.
This is a free event, however prior booking is required. Tickets are available here.
