Moon Palace: After Dark Observation Session in Otley
Sunday 19th November 2023 from 18:00pm to 21:30pm
North Parade Car Park - Otley
North Parade, Otley, West Yorkshire, LS21 1BA
Book your place for this after-dark moon gazing session with our onboard telescopes. An interactive experience that encourages great conversations on art, science and much more hosted by Artists and Astronomers over a cup of ‘cosmic’ tea! And if it’s a clear night, we may get lucky and see Jupiter’s moons or even Saturn’s rings!
Tickets for moon gazing are limited to 12 per session. If you cannot attend, please return your ticket so someone else can participate.
Artists Heather Peak and Ivan Morison created Moon Palace; this new artwork and mobile observatory is inspired by the legacy of John Smeaton and the observatory he had in East Leeds. The project forms part of Leeds Year of Culture 2023.
Please note that this has already taken place on 19/11/2023
