Reading Astronomical Society in association with the British Science Association are organising this special event as part of British Science Week 2017.  Observe the moon from the main quad gardens and enjoy astronomy talks in room L22.  Free of charge with all members of the public welcome!

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
