The Elan Valley Dark Sky Park will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing by having a Moon Day, held at the Visitor Centre and Penbont House. Celebrate this special day with us with fun, astronomy themed activities for all ages. Activities held at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre and Penbont House. Elan Links History group will be asking you for your memories of the Lunar Landing on 20th July, 1969. We will also be showing the Lunar Landing as it was broadcast on CBS and other videos related to the Moon. All events are free and some require booking.
