Moon and Mars in the constellation of Gemini
Sunday 9th March 2025 from 18:30pm to 20:30pm
Tomintoul & Glenlivet Discovery Centre
The Square, Tomintoul, Banffshire, AB37 9ET
Would you like to learn more about the night sky? Join us at the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Discovery Centre for a session looking at Mercury, Venus, Mars, Moon and Pollux. Both the Moon and Mars are in the constellation of Gemini on the 9th of March.
This constellation is dominated by the bright stars of Castor and Pollux, the celestial twins. We’ll have a presentation before going outdoors for a stroll to down to a nearby telescope site to look at stars, planets, and constellations and share resources for improving your celestial knowledge.
