Mindful stargazing evening at Tokes Farm
Saturday 26th November 2022 from 18:00pm to 22:00pm
Tokes Farm
Tokes Lane, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 9AP
Join astrophysicist and Zen teacher Mark Westmoquette for an evening exploring various mindful stargazing practices, focussing on scientifically, energetically and spiritually contemplating our place within the cosmos and our connections to it.
Before going outside, we’ll practice a cosmic body scan, sensing different parts of our body and how they’re made of stuff that was produced in stars billions of years ago.
Then as we go outdoors, we’ll spend some time immersing ourselves in the experience of the night sky as it is (clear or cloudy) and explore how we can feel part of the cosmos, at home in this vast universe of ours.
Hearty supper and hot drinks included.
Please note that this has already taken place on 26/11/2022
