Witness the incredible view of the Summertime Milky Way arching across the sky at High Force Waterfall in this special event organised by Star Safaris.

The event is timed to when the brightest region of the Milky Way is at its highest point in the sky when viewed from the UK, with a late evening start time to ensure the skies are dark.

England’s highest waterfall, usually only accessible during the daytime, is spectacular enough before adding an incredible star-filled sky! You may even glimpse a few late Perseids meteors!

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable evening in the heart of the North Pennines AONB. Perhaps you might treat yourself to an overnight stay and a lovely meal in the High Force Hotel?
