Mid Kent Astronomical Society - Family Space Night
Friday 10th November 2023 from 20:00pm to 22:00pm
Bredhurst Village Hall
Hurstwood Road, Bredhurst, Kent, ME7 3JZ
If you want fun for yourself or your children or grandchildren after the excitement of half term and fireworks night, look no further than this Family Space Night!
Organised by the friendly members of the Mid Kent Astronomical Society, the event includes a beginner’s guide to the night sky and displays about astronomy and space.
They will have some hands-on activities for the younger children from age seven upwards. There will be plenty to occupy adults, too!
Come along and learn about Space and Astronomy and, weather permitting, go outside and look at some interesting astronomical sights through a selection of telescopes.
There will also be the latest electronically assisted observing telescopes, allowing several people to log on and view the objects simultaneously, as well as more conventional designs. Steps will be provided to help shorter adults and children reach the eyepieces.
Please note that this has already taken place on 10/11/2023
