Man on the Moon: A 50th Anniversary Celebration

This free exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing by man runs from 20th July through to 5th October at Mansfield Museum. Exhibits include a large image of a lunar rover and model spacecraft from the Apollo, Mercury and Gemini projects. There will be astronomical talks covering topics such as the ever-increasing interest in Radio Astronomy and lots of children's activities as well. The exhibition aims to teach, entertain and hopefully renew interest in the space around us... See you all there!
