Everyone is invited to join in the celebrations as Loughton Astronomical Society enjoys its 50th orbit of the Sun! The event really is for everyone with activities for families, scope doctor (take your telescope along if you’d like some help!), trade stands and refreshments. Also a 60 seat planetarium with 4 shows taking place throughout the morning, then in the afternoon astronomical presentations by leading lecturers.

Attending the festival is free of charge however the planetarium costs £3 adults / £2 children under 16 and the afternoon lectures cost £15. Free all dark parking. Tickets to the lectures can be purchased online.
