Ruislip Lido

Ruislip Lido

Reservoir Road, Ruislip, Middlesex, HA4 7TY

The Ruislip Lido is a reservoir and artificial beach on the outskirts of Ruislip, North West London. Light pollution maps show that the location offers some real respite from the worst of the capital’s bright lights, the surrounding woods helping to dampen glow from the horizon. Note that whilst the official pay and display car park closes at 6pm there is parking nearby. This venue is often used by West Of London Astronomical Society for public stargazing events.

Ruislip Lido is a Go Stargazing Site. The location has been identified by the Go Stargazing team as a good location for stargazing based on local light pollution levels, distance from nearby towns and cities and offers a safe place to park.
