This stunning location for stargazing was officially awarded Dark Sky Discovery Site status in October 2019, the first site to receive such an award in the Cambrian Mountains as mentioned on their website..
With wide open skies and uninterrupted vistas in nearly all directions it’s a perfect location for Astrophotography and spotting shooting stars! Also check out the small car park a little to the South which has fantastic views Northwards of the dam itself.
