Built between 1618 and 1635 by Sir Thomas Holte and designed by John Thorpe, the house is rich in history, featuring the Long Gallery and an oak staircase scarred by the English Civil War. It sits in a serene Green Flag park north of the city, near Villa Park, offering a peaceful escape. The gardens, completed in 1934, include a statue of Pan by Birmingham sculptor William Bloye.
