Come and discover the wonders of the night sky with your little ones in our Little Acorn winter events, featuring extra sparkle!
Explore the skies above with us in the magical setting of our Earth Trust gardens and have fun connecting with nature after dark. We’ll be using a microscope for a spot of mini star-gazing, there’ll be planetary play and lunar crafts, and story-time featuring moon-mallow pies around the fire-pit.
Each event is based on a different aspect of the night sky, so you can choose your favourite heavenly theme, or come along to all three for an inspiring series of learning about the wonders of the universe!
Our Little Acorns sessions feature a variety of seasonal activities for children to explore, inspired by the natural world. They are child-led experiences, so our tutors support and guide children, but do not direct them, to allow each child to lead their own learning while developing their curiosity for nature. Suitable for ages 3 – 7 years.
