Discover the magic of the Leonids Meteor Shower, which takes place later tonight (weather permitting) and find out where comets come from. If clouds prevent us from viewing the starlit sky, we will use the radio-telescope instead to detect meteors whizzing through the ionosphere at thousands of miles per hour! This event is aimed at beginners 11 years and older. Weather permitting, telescopes and binoculars will be available for you to use. Refreshments will also be available. Please bring warm clothes and footwear and a torch. Booking essential.
Please note that this event has already taken place on 17/11/2018
