Leonid Meteor Shower viewing with Dark Skies Gigha
Friday 17th November 2023 from 23:45pm to Saturday 18th November 2023 03:00am
Dark Skies Theatre - Port Mor - Isle of Gigha
Port Mor, Isle of Gigha, Isle of Gigha, PA41 7AA
Join the Gigha’s Dark Skies community to watch The Leonid Meteor Showers this November. The Leonids are fast, bright meteors with fine trains associated with Comet Tempel-Tuttle.
Warm, waterproof clothing and footwear are essential at this time of year when staying still outdoors at night. There are benches at the site; however, if you have a portable reclining chair, that will make viewing even more comfortable. Hot chocolate drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring refreshments of your choice.
Please note that this has already taken place on 17/11/2023
