Join experienced astrophotographer Gary Lintern capturing images of the Geminids meteor shower from a dark sky location in Weardale. Meeting at a pre-arranged location in Stanhope (we have presumed the Durham Dales Centre) your small group of no more than 10 will drive out to the best dark sky location nearby. This event is ideal for those with some experience using their camera settings (setting shutter speed, ISO, focussing manually) and you'll certainly need a camera tripod!
- Event offers guidance and tuition on how to take night-time photographs using a camera and tripod or using a telescope in place of a camera lens.
This event is being organised by Gary Lintern Photography who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
Please contact Gary Lintern Photography directly for more details regarding this event or, if appropriate, contact the event venue.
