Kendal lights switch off (and Christmas lights on)
Thursday 17th November 2022 from 17:30pm to 19:00pm
Kendal Town Hall
Old Hutton, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4DL
Experience the fabulous dark skies above Cumbria before Kendal’s Christmas lights are switched on!
Local campaigner and Friends of the Lake District Dark Skies Officer Jack Ellerby has arranged for lights to be switched off for 30 minutes enabling people to witness an incredible view of the cosmos before it all disappears again when light pollution takes over, and the Christmas lights are turned back on.
Please note that this has already taken place on 17/11/2022
