Visit Whitelee Windfarm for this stargazing event suitable for young astronomers! Learn about the stars and planets then see them through yourself from this amazingly dark location! Lots of fun activities to keep everyone involved even if the weather isn’t great. It’s free however prior booking is required.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
