Thursday 18th September 2025 from 18:30pm to 19:30pm
Dark Space Planetarium
St Mary Street, Kirkcudbright, Kirkcudbrightshire, DG6 4EG
The fact that Isaac Newton saw further than most people is because he stood on the shoulders of the intellectual giant Johannes Kepler.
Described by Einstein as a genius, Kepler spent years searching for the laws that drive the universe.
In this talk, amateur astronomer Andy Sawers talks about the life and work of the man who truly deserves to be called the first astrophysicist.
