Members of the public are welcome to join astronomers from Preston and District Astronomical Society for this one of their regular open evenings of the historic Jeremiah Horrocks Observatory in Moor Park, which take place on the third Thursday of each month between September and March. Enjoy views of the night sky using telescopes if the skies are clear; if not, there will be a tour of the observatory and a short talk on Astronomy. The event is free of charge however requires pre-booking.
