Introduction to astronomy with Huddersfield Astro

This introductory course is ideal for anyone new to astronomy who wishes to learn how to navigate the night sky, use a telescope or take photos of the heavens. The course starts on 17th February and runs for six weeks. Please contact the Society directly if you are interested in attending.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
