The Bettridge Centre

The Bettridge Centre

Coastal Park, Newtonhill, Aberdeenshire, AB39 3UL

Located in the village of Newtonhill on the North East Coast of Scotland the Bettridge Centre is the regular observing location for Aberdeen Astronomical Society who hold regular informal meetings here including stargazing when weather permits. Light pollution maps show quite high levels considering the location’s proximity to the coast and, given the site has been chosen by as Astronomical Society for observing, is probably really good!

The Bettridge Centre is a private location and is only accessible out of normal hours for stargazing by prior arrangement or when public events are scheduled.
