Join members of the Horsham Astronomy Group for this one of their regular monthly meetings (except August and the odd month where the school is closed). Enjoy a talk or presentation then observing in the school grounds if weather permits. Note that event dates are subject to change depending on school term times — please contact the group before travelling to confirm this event is going ahead. Aim to arrive 18:30pm for 19:00pm start.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
