St John's Church - High Legh
The Avenue, High Legh, 6ND
The amateur astronomy group that runs events at the nearby High Legh Community Observatory meets on each month’s second Thursday. These meetings are open to the public (a small fee is charged on the door) and involve an interesting presentation or lecture by an expert in astronomy. These events do not necessarily involve practical stargazing; however, they are a great way to meet local astronomers and find out more about their fantastic observatory.
