Castleton Visitor Centre
Buxton Road, Castleton, Derbyshire, S33 8WN
Green Space Dark Skies is a UK wide art project that invites people to experience beautiful landscapes at dusk between April and September 2022.
Everyone can sign up for one of a series of mass gatherings that encourage people to celebrate nature and humankind’s responsibility to protect it.
The gatherings will be created at dusk by participants, referred to as Lumenators, and guided along pathways or waterways carrying smart lights that will enable digital choreography captured on film while also being sensitive to the nighttime environment. These short films will be available to view online for free soon after each event.
This gathering will be in the Peak District National Park on 23rd April 2022 (TIME TO BE CONFIRMED). Please note that the location is not the Castleton Visitor Centre, the location will only be made known to successful applicants.
