Join astronomers from Go Stargazing for an evening exploring the fabulous dark skies above the world famous Tan Hill Inn. You’ll enjoy a laser guided tour of the constellations and observe distant galaxies, nebulae, star clusters using powerful telescopes. There’ll be an introductory presentation on astronomy and, if the weather is poor, you’ll be shown how you can find your way around the night skies yourself using planetarium software. Why not arrive early and enjoy a hearty meal and perhaps stay over to maximise your dark sky viewing!?
This event takes place as part of the National Parks Dark Sky Festival 2020 which runs from 14th February to 1st March.
