Huddersfield Astronomy Society hold regular practical stargazing sessions at their “Garden of Stars” dark sky location, and you are invited to join them!
Experts will be on hand to give advice about equipment and anything sky related! Bring telescopes or binoculars if you have them (though these are not required for attendance!) and any refreshments you may require. Don’t forget to wrap up warm!
These events are for both Society members and members of the public alike and are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 19:00 to 21:30.
Cost for Society members: £2. Non members £3. Children (under 16) free (accompanied by a paying adult). There are toilet facilities on site.
Note that this event may be cancelled at short notice due to poor weather. We recommend checking the Huddersfield Astronomy Society website or Facebook page for updates, or contacting them prior to your visit.
