The twice annual Galloway Star Camp is a popular event among astronomers -- it's remote location away from light pollution affords some of the very best views of the darkest of skies.  You'll find a very friendly welcome by the staff at Drumroamin Farm who will make your stay comfortable with excellent on site facilities.  The local area is a delight to explore by day and when the skies darken a whole Universe to explore above!
