Princess Road, Pensilva, PL14 5NF
Experience Bodmin Moor's glorious night sky with a free star gazing evening on Friday 15th March at Millennium House, Pensilva from 7pm until 10pm. A mix of activities are planned including a talk on Radio Telescope projects, a Magic Planet demonstration and, weather allowing, a stargazing session. Mars will due west at 8pm with a half Moon to the south. March is still a great time to catch Orion and a chance to see some of Leo's galaxies millions of light years away.
There is no charge to attend the event which has been organised by Cornwall Council and led by Caradon Observatory. Drinks will be available for purchase and there will be a charity box for any donations to Pensilva Health Centre and the Sterile Ward at Derriford Hospital.
This event is being organised by Caradon Observatory who should be contacted if you have any queries. We highly recommend you confirm this event is indeed going ahead before travelling. If you do attend it would be fantastic if you could let the organiser know you found them via Go Stargazing!
