Forming Stars and Planets talk then observing at Beacon Observatory

After a brief hiatus, the Beacon Astronomy Group resume their science talks on Saturday 4th, February. Dr Dirk Froebrich will gbriefly explain star and planet formation and then observe afterwards from the nearby Beacon Observatory if the skies are clear.
The event starts in the Grimond Building at 6 pm, moving to the Beacon Observatory at 7 pm for stargazing if weather permits.
There is no admission and no booking is required; however, you are asked to let the group know you plan to attend this event using the RSVP feature on Facebook.
