Festival Stars under Dark Skies
Friday 2nd February 2024 from 19:30pm to 21:30pm
Sutton Bank Star Hub
Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 2EX
North Yorkshire’s famous Dark Sky Festival begins on the 9 Feb, but we’re offering a sneak preview! With no moon in the sky we’ll see more stars, plus amazing objects like star clusters and nebula will look at their best. We’ve also got a special reduction on ticket prices to mark the Festival.
The Star Hub at Sutton Bank provides a warm indoor space for colourful presentations with a purpose built viewing area alongside. If it’s cloudy we will still see stars thanks to a brilliant computer based planetarium show.
