Staindrop, Barnard Castle, DL2 3AH
Visit Raby Castle to learn about the night sky, including the autumn constellations visible from the UK. You will also discover the best conditions, times of the month, and times of day to continue your explorations, as well as how to choose a telescope and/or a pair of binoculars. We will also cover how to use free and low-cost software and mobile apps to help you find your way around the stars.
If conditions are clear, we will head outside for a tour of the night sky, using astronomy binoculars (provided).
