Family Stargazing at Lansdown Park and Ride
Saturday 21st January 2023 from 18:00pm to 20:00pm
Lansdown Park & Ride
Lansdown, Bath, Avon, BA1 9BJ
Bath Astronomers are setting up telescopes for families and individuals to come and look through and enjoy the night sky together for free.
Wrap up warm and look at the moons around Jupiter, the storm belts, and, if we’re lucky, the Great Red Spot.
Get your eyes used to the dark and try to spot the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way arching overhead, or test your eyesight like ancient warriors by splitting stars.
You can register your interest for this event via the Eventbrite website. Note that this family stargazing event is weather dependent, so please check back the event’s Facebook page on the day of the event before travelling to avoid cancellation disappointment.
Please note that this has already taken place on 21/01/2023
