Join rangers from the South Downs National Park and Deadwater Valley Trust to discover more about the planets, solar system and dark skies from Hogmoor Inclosure.

The event will also feature an informal astronomy talk and the opportunity to look through some telescopes.

Suitable for the whole family. Hot refreshments are available.

This event is part of the South Downs Dark Skies Festival 2023.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
