Join Dartmoor Skies and discover some of amazing ways that people have (and are) exploring space. And if the skies are clear you’ll get to stargaze with Dartmoor Skies’ amazing new telescope Moorscope.

The talky bit as aimed at children aged 8+, but activities for younger siblings will be available so all ages welcome.

Hot and cold drinks, and snacks, will be available for a donation.

This event is free but tickets must be reserved in advance.

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.

Midnight on the date shown is shown as a white line with sunset to the left and sunrise the next morning to the right. A black background with stars shows the best times for stargazing.
