Ewell Astronomical Society frequently organise observing sessions at their favoured stargazing venue Denbies Field.  They meet at The Stepping Stones Pub at 20:00 beforehand.  Why not join them and perhaps take your own telescope along? These events are always subject to favourable weather conditions with announcements being made on the social media pages to confirm the dates. Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
