EUCARA 2025 – A Friendly Gathering of Radio Astronomy Enthusiasts!
Whether you’re an experienced astronomer or just curious about radio astronomy, you’re warmly invited to EUCARA 2025, hosted by the British Astronomical Association’s Radio Astronomy Section and RAL Space. The event takes place from 5th to 7th September 2025 at the Harwell Campus in Oxfordshire.
Over the weekend, you’ll hear from both experts and enthusiastic amateurs, enjoy hands-on demos, and explore fascinating research in our poster session. It’s a great chance to learn something new, share your own ideas, and meet fellow radio astronomy fans from the UK and across Europe.
The event includes:
– A keynote address by Jocelyn Bell Burnell DBE, FRS
– A conference dinner on Saturday evening
– Developments in meteor observations by radar
– Radio Astronomy Techniques and Observations
– Practical demonstrations
– Visits to Harwell facilities including RAL-Space and Isis.
Everyone’s welcome – from seasoned observers to complete beginners!
