This particular meeting of Doncaster Astronomical Society will be taking place at the Austerfield Field Study Centre — members of the public are very welcome to join them for an astronomical presentation and then observing from their fantastic Brian Joynes Observatory. Great weather forecast too!

Event darkness

The Moon has a big impact on the visibility of celestial bodies in the night sky. Try to plan your stargazing when there is no bright Moon at night as this is when the skies will be at their darkest.
