Dark Skies walk at Sutton Bank
Saturday 24th October 2020 from 19:00pm to 22:00pm
Sutton Bank Visitor Centre
Sutton Bank, Near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 2EH
Home to ‘England’s Finest View’ from the scarp of Sutton Bank over the Vale of York, this walk takes us along the edge of the North York Moors, where woodland clings to the slopes. Experience with a friendly group and a leader who can take you on a walk into the countryside to show you some great spots to look up at the heavens.
Our elevated position allows a great opportunity to see thousands of stars, shooting stars, the moon, and of course the different atmosphere the night gives to the natural world around us.
This event is organised by Large Outdoors and takes place as part of the North York Moors Dark Skies Fringe Festival 2020.
Please note that this event has already taken place on 24/10/2020
