Visit Stump Cross Caverns for their first ever star party in conjunction with the 4th Dark Skies festival! Expert Astronomer Richard Darn will be on hand with powerful telescopes to view the skies above Stump Cross and see the stunning star clusters and constellations.
Includes: cavern tour, colourful beginner’s talk, outside viewing if clear and chance to handle rocks from outer space. Cavern tour is optional and involves steps, uneven ground and low ceiling.
The event is suitable for adults and children over 6 years old.
This event is taking place as part of the National Parks Dark Skies Festival 2019.
