Dark Skies Night with Cambridge University's Institute of Astronomy
Saturday 19th November 2022 from 18:00pm to 20:00pm
Fen Meadows - Cambridge Glamping
Riverside, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB25 9HD
Telescope Stargazing, astronomy talks, sky tours & cheeseburgers…what’s not to love.
Join us with Cambridge University’s Institute of Astronomy for an immersive Dark Skies Night in November when Jupiter and Saturn look their best. The Leonid meteor shower is happening too. So if the stars align, not the clouds, we’ll be in for the astronomical extravaganza.
We have a capacity of 60 guests to look through the telescopes, but we are welcoming 100 guests in total. The Institute of Astronomy has recommended ages 7+ use telescopes.
Arrive hungry Steak & Honour will be flipping burgers for the duration.
This is a free event for Lode Community. Strictly no cars, please. Arrive by foot or bike.
Please note that this has already taken place on 19/11/2022
