As part of the North York Moors Dark Skies Festival, join the team from the North York Moors National Park for an evening of stargazing with Whitby & District Astronomical Society.
Come and explore the majestic winter sky at its best and marvel at the many wonders from stellar nurseries and brilliant galactic clusters, to supernova remnants and remote galaxies. All in the heart of the beautiful International Dark Sky Reserve.
If we can’t see the stars due to poor weather, a presentation will be shown inside.
Warm clothing and good footwear are advised. If bringing torches please use red or low light.
Hot drinks and snacks will be available from Park Life Café.
