Carn Galver Engine House
Zennor, Penzance, Cornwall, TR20 8YX
Explore the incredible north Penwith moors, walking through a rich prehistoric landscape with Carolyn Kennett (FRAS) archaeoastronomer and local Dark Skies advocate. Along the route, you will learn about the longstanding relationship that people have with the sky above. We will visit a number of ancient sites along the route including the wonderful Nine Maidens Circle and enigmatic Men-an-Tol.
The walk is approx 4 miles in length and starts with a fairly steep section leading to some wonderful views at the top of Carn Galva. We will follow moorland tracks and pathways all the way. Please be prepared for all weathers and wear sturdy footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy.
The meeting point is Carn Galva car park. Grid Ref: SW421364 Nearest postcode: TR20 8YX what3words: develops.chicken.drawn
